Understanding fees for refunded payments
Cancellations for bookings made through VRBO or Directly will incur a cancellation fee upon refunding a payment/charge. Stripe charges a 3% processing fee for the original transaction and another 3% fee to process a refund.
A large portion of the underlying cost of payment processing is driven by fees assessed by banks and payment networks (like Visa and Mastercard). These networks set rules about which fees apply for refunded payments, and in many cases banks and card networks keep the entire upfront cost of a refunded transaction. For some regions and payment types, refunded payments also incur additional fees.
To address these underlying payment processing costs and continue providing these services as part of our standard pricing, Desert Sky Realty & Investments does not return our processing fees when a payment is refunded.

Great Condo
We enjoyed our stay very much. Peaceful and quiet condo with great amenities and very well equipped with everything you need. The condo was spotlessly clean. The pool is great!

The condo was perfect.It was nicely equipped. It was centrally located to drive to several places. It was clean and quiet. The pool was a plus during the warm weather. Melissa, our host was fantastic. She communicated regularly and quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. I would recommend this condo to family, friends or anyone staying in Las Crusas.

Melissa is a great host and the cando was absolutely perfect for our trip. The condo is located in a prime spot, walking distance from Old Mesilla in a safe and very quiet neighborhood. The condo was equipped for all you need for the perfect stay including a full kitchen, washer and dryer and an outdoor pool. Checkin and out was very convenient and Melissa was very responsive with any questions I had. Next time I’m in Las Cruces, I plan on booking this condo again and again and again. Thank you Melissa!
